Although focused on the Roman Mithraism, this book is actualli an analysis of the symbolic language of the material monuments of de Roman period -the so-caled Mithra reliefs, Sabazios' hands, reliefs of Dionysius, the Tracians Horseman and the Danubians Riders. The reliefs and sculpture compositions shown use the same symbolic language.
